Asterism is an interactive music video album – a combination of a music album and a video game.

Playing as astronaut Ruby, you travel through space from her home in the centre of the Sun outwards towards the edges of the galaxy, stopping off at various planets and locations to investigate musical signals that you’ve been detecting. At each location, you play through an interactive music video of one of the album’s tracks, many of which are themed around inner conflict and anxiety, love and connection.

The game’s art is primarily hand-crafted in styles such as claymation and papercraft, leaning into the game’s personal themes.
